Paris Hilton was held by police on the French island of Corsica and caught with less than a gram of marijuana in her purse, the Agence France-Presse reports.
The heiress, 29, was stopped at the airport in Figari after arriving on a private jet from Paris on Friday. According to reports, police soon released Hilton without charging her.
Hilton, who had a brush with the law in South Africa earlier this month after allegedly smoking marijuana at the World Cup, is expected to continue her travels in Sardinia, Italy.
After being questioned by South African police on July 2, Hilton's rep says she was cleared of any wrongdoing – that "the incident was a complete misunderstanding" and that "the case [had] been dropped against Paris."
Hilton's rep was not immediately available for comment.
Hilton, however, addressed the incident herself, Tweeting on Saturday, "Just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false! I am having the best vacation of my life! What an amazing summer! I feel so blessed and grateful for everything. I Love Life!! :) Now let's move on and everyone focus and enjoy their own summer time! Love you guys! Xo Paris."
